Ahsoka Star Rosario Dawson has teased the role of Grand Admiral Thrawn in his upcoming series.
The star wars The universe continues its break with the big screen and is currently focusing on new television series. Part of those shots is his prominent use of Ahsoka Tano, who debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars in animated form. Rosario Dawson portrayed her in her live-action debut on Season 2 of The Mandalorian. She has since appeared in The Boba Fett Book, and will star in its own standalone series. As for what this series entails, it looks like we’ll see it starring Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) in search of their old friend Ezra Bridger, who was last seen in star wars rebels with Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Rosario Dawson recently made an appearance at C2E2 2023, in which she discussed filming Ahsoka, where she dropped clues as to what may be going on with Grand Admiral Thrawn, given that his episode of The Mandalorian teased where this series is heading:
“That guy, guy…incognito,” Dawson said. “Maybe we’ll get the scarlet witch to help us out, she can jump across the multiverse, can’t she? Let’s go girl! Yeah, I mean, that’s a really big key giveaway in mando about what my show could potentially be. Obviously we’re really trying to keep up [Thrawn] down, so we’ll see what happens…
It’s clear that Lucasfilm is grooming Ahsoka Tano as one of the most important figures in star wars to advance. Since it is an integral part of the current chronology of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and her own series, it’s likely that Rosario Dawson will remain a franchise linchpin for the foreseeable future.
