A politician named Dr Shahbaz Gill has been arrested for provoking the authorities.
According to an Islamabad police statement on Tuesday, Shahbaz Gill, party chairman and prominent PTI official, was detained for inciting the public to oppose state institutions.
The official said Shahbaz Gill had been detained “for speaking out against government institutions and inciting the people to insurrection”.
The head of the PTI is the subject of a case at the Banigala police station, the spokesman said. Along with additional allegations, a section regarding incitement of persons against state institutions and their leaders was included in the FIR.
It is crucial to remember that the PTI leader previously tried to stir up tensions within the Pakistani military when speaking on ARY News.
Gill insulted journalists in addition to making threats against senior bureaucrats. The leader of the PTI had insulted his political opponents and used personal attacks against them.
“This is a kidnapping, not an arrest.”
Imran Khan, the president of the PTI, called Gill’s arrest a “kidnapping”.
The video statement of Gill’s driver, released by Imran Khan, claims the PTI politician was tortured and forced out of the car.
This is a kidnapping rather than an arrest. What democracy would allow such heinous conduct? Political employees are seen as enemies. And every effort was made to persuade us to support a corrupt government that had the support of other countries.
PTI uploaded a video of Gill’s automobile with broken glasses and demanded the party leader’s immediate release.
Today’s arrest of Gill marks his second in recent months.
Shahbaz Gill was apprehended by Punjab police on July 17 in Muzaffargarh for going to numerous polling stations with security guards posing as FC members during the city’s by-elections.
By contrast, Gill denied keeping security guards dressed as FC officials and said he worked for three hours before he was unexpectedly detained without a warrant.
Former federal minister and head of PTI Murad Saeed tweeted confirmation of the information.
In an interview with ARY News, Fawad Chaudhry alleged that he was taken into custody and abused at Bani Gala Chowk by professionally dressed staff.
Fawad Chaudhry claimed he was pulled from the car and they are not sure who detained a member of his party or what the charges were.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former SAPM official Dr Shahbaz Gill had earlier threatened to arrest Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah if he did not appear before a commission to investigate on allegations of torture involving participants in the Azadi March. .
