Muhammad Syed, a 51-year-old Albuquerque resident, has been charged with the murders of two Muslim men.
Syed is said to be a Sunni Muslim who lash out at Shia Muslims due to his personal animosity. The murderer may have committed these acts knowing them personally. Following last week’s event, the life of Albuquerque Muslim is in danger, according to Edward Ahmed Mitchell, deputy national director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Some details related to four Muslims who were killed in nine months in Albuquerque:
Naeem Hussian, a 25-year-old Pakistani man, was found dead on Truman Street and Grand Avenue on August 5, 2022.
Muhammad Afzaal Hussain, 27, was killed on the sidewalk outside his apartment complex on August 1, 2022.
Aftab Hussein, 41, was shot on July 26, 2022 at 420 Rhode Island Avenue and later pronounced dead.
Mohammad Zahir Ahmadi, 62, was discovered shot dead in the parking lot of the store his brother operates on November 7, 2022.
Muhammad Syed arrested for killing 2 Muslim men
Syed is the prime suspect in the murders of two of the four Muslim men. The news was tweeted again on Twitter by the ODA Public Information Officer. They had mentioned the arrest of Muhammad Syed, whom they believe to be the prime suspect in the recent deaths of Muslim men in Albuquerque, by ODA detectives and FBI investigators.
On the social page, they wrote published information. On June 7, burglars prepared to search Syed’s residence in southeast Albuquerque. Syad, however, left the scene in a Volkswagen Jetta. The Albuquerque Police Department has located the car that was used in the murder of two Muslim men.
The case was also posted by President Biden on his official Twitter account. “I am horrified and saddened by the horrific murders of four Muslims in Albuquerque,” he wrote on the pin. My condolences go out to the loved ones of the victims as we await the results of the thorough investigation, and my administration fully supports the Muslim community.
“These terrible acts have no place in America,” the president continued. Investigators believe Syad was involved in at least one of the murders. They searched his residence and car once they suspected the murder. Additional evidence was uncovered after further investigation, concluding that the individual was responsible for the murders.
The officer says the evidence shows the connection between the victims and the criminal. The shootings may have been prompted by interpersonal tensions because Syed somehow knows them. Medina praised everyone for working with them to solve the case and restore the community’s sense of security, even during a press conference.

Syed, 51, is responsible for the deaths of two Muslim men. His wife may not be aware of her husband’s illicit activities. The APD revealed on Saturday August 6 that it was investigating in detail the murder of the 25-year-old Muslim man.
Naeem Hussain was shot on Friday, pronounced dead and lost his life at a young age. The officer thought there must be a connection between Friday’s murder case and the three other recent cases involving Muslim men. South Asia represents all victims.
Detectives quickly came to the conclusion that the recent murder of Muhammed Afzal Hussian, who was only 27, and the murder of Aftab Hussein, who was 41, had something in common. Both individuals are Muslims and citizens of Pakistan.
Detectives therefore wonder if the crime is linked to the other two homicides. Officers have identified the vehicle and will offer a $30,000 award for any related information.
Albuquerque Man Muhammad Syed Case Update
Syed was charged with killing Muhammad Afzaal Hussain on August 1 and Aftab Hussain on July 26, 2022. He was the victim of two homicides which the police officer linked to him using casings found at the crime scene.
The weapon was discovered during the firing, following a nighttime search of the residence. Harold Medina, the leader of APD, said: “It’s been a tough week for their neighborhood.” Nevertheless, they all contributed to the effort to stop these criminal actions and defend a society that felt threatened.
Detectives would continue to work with the district attorney’s police to keep the community safe and consider possible charges for the other two homicides, according to APD Child. Investigations are ongoing into the murders of Mohammad Zaher Ahmadi on November 7, 2021 and Naeem Hussain on August 5, 2022.
