If you haven’t forgotten, Spider-Man: No Coming Home was released last year just in time for Christmas, and both the film and Tom Holland were expected to be nothing short of incredible, with the film’s box office performance topping the billion-dollar mark.
By 1999, Sony Pictures Entertainment had acquired the movie rights to the character and released the Sam Raimi Trilogy version of Spider-Man starring Tobey Maguire. Shortly after, what followed was Marc Webb’s take on the web hero starring Andrew Garfield, and now we have Tom Holland in the iconic role. One of the main selling points of Spider-Man: No Coming Home was getting all three iconic actors in one movie, and of course, there was a plot worthy of living up to that idea.
The continued success of the new Spider-Man franchise with Tom Holland in the lead role made Sony fall in love with the actor. Just recently, on August 10, which is Peter Parker’s birthday, Sony indulged in a few minute banter with the Mr. Parker actor.

Who knew a big movie studio could also be funny?
The official Sony Pictures Entertainment Twitter account took a liking to their major star Tom Holland, as it should since he’s probably the most popular Peter Parker of all time (after which comes Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield), and what better opportunity is there than Spider-Man’s birthday to further deepen the bond between each other?
The major movie studio uploaded a video tweet on the occasion of Peter Parker’s birthday where they wished him a very happy birthday in a comedic way.

There’s a reason Sony made the joke this way, which would confuse a normal person, because why wouldn’t Sony have any idea who Peter Parker is, the main character in its main Spider-Man movies?
!! Spoilers ahead for Spider-Man: No Coming Home !!
We will make it short! In the latest addition to the Spider-Man movie series, Doctor Strange cast a spell where he made everyone, literally everyone, forget Peter Parker’s identity, or even that he existed.
It’s honestly a very funny and clever dig into the character’s general awkwardness, and Holland must have liked it, as much as Peter would have.
