The Kingpin character played by Vincent D’Onofrio learned who Daredevil was and sent a villain to kill him and his team. The Netflix series used an indirect reference from the comics, the villainous Nuke was the enemy, but the character ended up being part of what is now called Jessica Jones.

Bringing actor Charlie Cox back is something of a revival for fans. This is similar to the technique taken with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Well for us to get this character back in any form is a blessing. Particularly because Marvel had no commitment to rehire the same cast, so it’s a perfect giveaway. Kevin Feige and the studio really know when they have something special coming up for us, and getting Daredevil: Born Again seems like they understand the Netflix series was remarkable.
Daredevil: Born Again should be released in 2024.
