It’s important that this character is in the real world. This is important for the authenticity of the story.
Kraven the Hunter made headlines a few weeks ago when Aaron Taylor-Johnson said the character was an animal lover. This caused outrage from fans as they could not substantiate the theory which led Taylor-Johnson to later clarify his statement. Later, Aaron Taylor-Johnson claimed that fans misinterpreted him.
