Following Jenna Bush Hager’s on-air invasion of co-host Justin Sylvester’s personal space, the Today show has recently become a trending topic. Although he signaled to him that he was uncomfortable, the former continued to try to get closer to Sylvester. Since then, netizens have criticized Bush Hager for his behavior.
During the cooking portion of the Today show, hosted by Jenna Bush Hager, Justin Sylvester and special guest Andy Baraghani, things got a little awkward for NBC viewers on Wednesday. As the group prepared a roast chicken, Hager put his hand on Sylvester and moved closer to him to better see what Baraghani was preparing. She then put her hand on the co-shoulder, the host’s, but he just waved her around.
Although Justin Sylvester put some distance between them, Jenna Bush Hager also continued to move in his direction. However, the former didn’t get the hint and continued to do so. Bush Hager then smiled towards the camera.
Shortly after, Sylvester was observed pushing her away with his hand.

Sylvester reveals in the video that nothing was as it was. The two were “flirting,” he said. He told how he made an effort to approach the cook because he was “attractive”. He pushed her aside while he had a “one-on-one moment” with the guest chef.
“People thought she was encroaching on my personal space, but that’s not the case. We were both flirting, that’s what we did. Well, I pushed the waitress aside so I could have a one-on-one session with the chef because I thought he was so cute.
After laundering Jenna Bush Hager’s reputation, the TV personality praised her for being kind. He stated:
“This girl is one of the nicest, most hospitable people I’ve ever met,” the man said.
Sylvester also expressed his displeasure with how the incident was twisted and turned into a spectacle.
Netizens found the wordless conversation uncomfortable to watch, as mentioned earlier. Many people complained that Bush Hager went too far. Many netizens praised his behavior for being “disturbing” to watch.
Thankfully, Sylvester quickly clarified that wasn’t the case before things got even worse.
Additionally, she looks straight into the camera as if to say, “Look how mean I am, tee hee hee”, whenever he tries to avoid or push her away. It’s not cute and it’s destabilizing.
