Since its first installment, the Predator The franchise has fallen on hard times, with none of its subsequent installments living up to the legacy of the original. Released this year, fans were treated to Prey which was considered the best installment since the beginning of the franchise.

The franchise has seen Yautja clash with humans in numerous locations, including Los Angeles, the Central American rainforest, and another planet. Many of these locations required the protagonist to have a high physique, this was seen in the Prey also, set in the Comanche nation.
Naru confronts the Predator
The film showed the alien showdown against a Comanche woman, with the technology gap playing a big role. Unlike the bulky characters from previous films, Naru played by Amber Midthunder was nimble and quick against the Predator.

Similar to the Dutchman from the first film, Naru sets up a complicated trap and uses his physique to trip the Predator, featuring some great action sequences. She also made a throwing ax which she then used.
Amber Midthunder will become the next X-23?
In the movie Logan, we saw Hugh Jackman receive a deserving send-off, while introducing the new Wolverine with Dafne Keen as a young mutant. Ever since the existence of mutants was confirmed in the MCU thanks to Ms. Marvelincluding the new wolverine is more feasible than ever.

Amber Midthunder’s character bears many similarities to Marvel’s X-23. Naru used blades to fight, while X-23 literally extends the blades of his limbs. Both characters are equally concentrated with anger and an intense will to survive.

Considering the fact that the actor can pull off fast physicality and can lead the movie without spitting out dialogue every minute, she’s perfect for the role. Fans have also drawn the similarities and are adamant that Amber Midthunder will be the next Wolverine.
