As the photo trial hearing continues, users on Reddit and Twitter have shared the autopsy sketch of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi.
On January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi Bryant perished in a horrific helicopter crash. They were in an S-76B helicopter that crashed after falling 2,000 feet per minute. In addition, seven more people perished in California on the mountainside.
A year after the horrific incident, investigators are now looking into the circumstances of the accident, including the pilot’s background, the weather and the helicopter’s safety equipment. On August 10, 2022, a trail hearing involving the crash footage began.
Vanessa Bryant, Bryant’s widow, has filed a civil lawsuit because she believes deputies photographed Kobe’s body and made it publicly visible just two days after the collision. She filed a complaint against them for violation of her privacy.

Four months after the horrific incident that claimed their lives, Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s autopsy results have been released. In a series of doodles shared on Reddit and Twitter, the bodies of father and daughter suffered severe damage.
Bryant and the other victims suffered blunt force injuries, according to the LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner, who ruled their deaths an accident. The helicopter crashed on January 26, 2020, not far from Calabasas, California.
The extensive autopsy report also illustrates the severity of the disaster through the injuries it left, including dismemberments and burns that left several of its victims charred beyond recognition. However, the victims of the collision did not feel any discomfort.
The autopsy sketch will help jurors better understand the allegedly swapped photographs, which is why it’s critical to the case. Invading the privacy of the deceased is a social crime if not legal. Vanessa Bryant, the late Bryant’s widow, has rightly filed a lawsuit against sheriff’s deputies and firefighters for taking photos of her late husband and child. On August 10, 2022, a lawsuit focused on the stolen photos, which included images of deceased people.
Lawyers released the crash site footage on the first day of the trial. Photos of Bryan, his daughter and seven others were posted.
Deputy Joey Cruz revealed the footage just two days after the tragic collision, according to testimony from Bryant’s attorney, Luis Li, in court.
According to the coroner’s report, Bryant’s death was initially ruled accidental and the result of blunt force trauma. He added that the victims of the collision were not allowed to suffer. The entire report, however, detailed the ferocity of the impact through wounds, beheadings and burns.
Kobe had 30% burns on his chest, according to autopsy sketches. Outside the helicopter, his remains were discovered.
Several million dollars in damages are sought by Vanessa, who allegedly sued Los Angeles County for taking graphic photos of the tragedy which she says were handled by first responders.

What caused Kobe Bryant’s accident?
The jury came to the conclusion that the accident was mainly due to pilot error.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board, there are clouds and fog during the flight. The pilot’s decision to defy the restrictions and fly in dense clouds undoubtedly contributed to the tragedy.
Pilot Ara Zobayan advised air traffic control throughout the flight that he would be climbing to 4,000 feet when clouds were about 1,100 feet in the sky. The pilot, instead of climbing, climbed to a height of approximately 2,300 feet, veered left, and began to descend at a rate of 4,000 feet per minute.
According to the LA Times summary of findings, the pilot may have mistaken his descent for an ascent. He claims that Zobayan experienced the “somatogravic illusion” as a result of misperception of altitude and acceleration.
