Pay gap on Jurassic World sets?
Playing Claire Dearing in jurassic world aftermath, Bryce Dallas Howard said she was unfairly paid. Some reports suggest that the film’s lead role, Chris Pratt, was paid $10 million, and she was only paid $8 million for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. She said in an interview with Insider:
“The reports were so interesting because I was paid so much less than the reports said, so much less. When I started trading for Jurassic, it was 2014, and it was a different world, and I I was at a huge disadvantage. And, unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies, and so your offers are set.

After discussing the pay gap with her co-star Chris Pratt, she said the actor pushed for them both to receive equal pay in movies and other aspects of the franchise, including video games and theme park rides. Commenting on the actor’s reaction, she said:
“He literally said to me, ‘You don’t even have to do anything. I will do all the negotiation. We’re gonna get paid the same, and you don’t have to think about it, Bryce. And I love him so much for doing that. I really do…”
