James Bay and Lucy Smith recently got married. Their daughter Ada Violet was born in October 2021. Bay showed off some photos from the wedding while making the news.
The first was a black and white photo of Bay and Smith walking together as confetti falls from the sky and Smith appears to be shouting in delight. In the second photo, the couple stared at each other while a few trees and a low summer sun were in the background. This is what he says:

As of now, we don’t know many details about Lucy Smith’s personal life. So far, all we know about Smith is that she works as a music promoter in London.
Smith became known as James Bay’s longtime love, and the two have been together since Bay was 17.
Bay said Smith was the coolest person alive and was the reason he became a musician. Before getting together, they were close friends. Bay also said:
“Back then, we used to stay home on Wednesday nights to watch TV, and she’d say, ‘Hey, if you want to be a famous musician one day, you should be playing songs at a bar or a club right now. “She taught me that, so I went out and did it. Without her, I wouldn’t be here. »
In May 2022, Bay released a song called “One Life”. It was about how he and Smith met, fell in love, and had a child together. James said he and Lucy grew up in the same town and it was very important to them to keep their relationship a secret.
He said One Life is a celebration of how far they’ve come in their journey.
James Bay made his music debut by releasing an EP titled The Dark of the Morning in July 2013. His second EP, Let It Go, was released in May 2014. The iTunes Albums Chart and the UK Albums Chart were dominated by this one.
In December 2014, James released his debut studio album, Chaos and the Calm. His song “Hold Back the River” was a big hit on the UK charts. Then, in January 2015, he released his fourth EP, Other Sides, which features covers of Hey Bulldog and King’s Highway.
Electric Light, the 31-year-old album, was released in May 2018 and its singles were an instant hit. Oh My Messy Mind, her third EP, was released in May 2019, and work on her third studio album began in spring 2020. Chew On My Heart, her next single, was released in July 2020.
