Although She-Hulk is just days away from her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series’ head writer has already addressed a major rumor circulating on the show. Following an interesting detail in one of the She-Hulk teaser frames, there was a buzz that Ghost Rider might make a surprise appearance in the upcoming Disney+ series.
Keeping in mind the detail Marvel Studios does in its films to portray a valid connection between everything has got fans even more excited that they can find the fiery, death’s-head antihero for the first time in the MCU. . But things are not going so well that now the screenwriter of the series leads to something else.

No Johnny Blaze in She-Hulk
Earlier this month, when Marvel released a teaser for the upcoming She-Hulk: Lawyer starring Tatiana Maslany, it raised major speculation regarding Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider appearing in the MCU. In one of the teaser scenes, fans spotted a glimpse of something called Johnny Blaze in the background.

While the last name Blaze was clearly visible in the teaser, the first name was unclear if it was Johnny or Donny. But a blurry image of a man surrounded by an aura of magical fire has fans believing their Ghost Rider theories. Now, finally, the show’s head writer, Jessica Gao, sheds some light on this by confirming that it’s not Johnny Blaze but Donny:
“It’s not Ghost Rider – his name is Donny Blaze,” Gao told Deadline. “He’s a magician named Donny Blaze.”
The She-Hulk the writer further explained that he had just chosen a name like that and that there was no real connection between him and the Ghost Rider:
“He’s just a magician who picked a stage name he thought would get a lot of attention. He’s a great character in his episode but he’s not Ghost Rider.
Thus, the writer closes all rumors related to Ghost Rider and therefore we will have to wait a little more time until official updates are released regarding the character.

Will Johnny Blaze appear soon in MCU?

Although we still owe any official announcements or updates regarding Ghost Rider character in MCU but a while ago the internet was full of theories and speculations when Ryan Gosling showed interest in playing Spirit of Vengeance . Even adding more fuel to the fire, Kevin Feige said he would like to give The gray man actor a place in the MCU:
“Gosling is amazing. Ryan is amazing… I would love to find a place for him in the MCU. He’s dressed up as Ken on Venice Beach and is getting more press than giant movies coming out this weekend. It’s incredible.”
This is not the first time that Johnny Blaze has attracted so much attention in the MCU. Even there were reports that The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus wants to direct the role of Ghost Rider. It’s safe to say that while we don’t have a confirmed yes, the project could be in part of the studio development phase.
