The second round of qualifying for Season 17 of America’s Got Talent (AGT) was featured in an episode that aired on NBC on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Aiko was born in Tokyo and raised by a single mother. She is a comedian, actress and television personality. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift marked the start of the AGT contestant’s career in film. She also took part in Finishing The Game, Justin Lin’s parody documentary on Bruce Lee’s latest film.

She has also participated in many other television programs, such as Comedy Central Stand-Up Asia! Live, The Howard Stern Show and The Jim Jeffries Show. The contestant had also given standing performances in various settings, such as prisons and naval bases.

Aiko is one-quarter Korean and three-quarters Japanese. The AGT contestant has also appeared on Laughs, a half-hour comedy series, and in several music videos for various musicians. She started her career as a catalog and commercial advertising model while still in elementary school, then came to America to pursue a career in acting.

Aiko has since performed professionally on the TV show Soul Train. On MTV’s The Grind, Malcolm & Eddie, The Man Show, My Wife and Kids and Howard Stern, the comedian has also made guest appearances.

Fans weren’t impressed, despite the judges praising her performance and Howie Mandel giving her a standing ovation.

There were 54 artists selected to perform live in the qualifying round at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Only ten contenders and one wild card will advance to the final round after the qualifying rounds, which are expected to last another three weeks. Which of the top 2 artists will perform in tonight’s finale will be determined on tomorrow’s episode.
