Reed Richards in Doctor Strange
So far we have only seen one member of the The Fantastic Four in the MCU, and it’s Reed Richards or Mr. Fantastic. The character is considered the smartest man alive in his universe, supposedly he was the one who created the Ultron robots shown in the film.
These robots were totally under control, just as Tony Stark intended, but the character wasn’t able to show much of her abilities with Wanda defeating the Illuminati. Apparently, actor John Krasinski’s appearance was also just to satisfy fans with years of fan casting.
The Fantastic Four in the MCU
The Fantastic Four will be released on November 8, 2024. In 2020, studio head Kevin Feige announced that soon the The Fantastic Four will also enter the MCU. But along with the announcement, he also said the movie won’t be an origin story.
Instead, they can be introduced via other films, similar to the introduction of Black Panther and Spider Man in Captain America: Civil War. As the studio announced that the The Fantastic Four will be the first film to be released in Phase 6, we can be introduced to this team anywhere in Phase 5 of the MCU.
Most theories about their introduction include, The Fantastic Four being stuck either in the quantum realm or somewhere in the vast, uncharted multiverse. During Phase 5, they will eventually break out of there and join the rest of the superheroes.
