An employee of a Wendy’s in Prescott Valley, Arizona was reportedly seen on surveillance video beating an elderly person on July 26. The elderly person died as a result, authorities said.

Reports claim that Antoine Kendrick, a 35-year-old employee of Wendy’s in Prescott Valley, got into an argument with a 67-year-old customer over an order.

After the 67-year-old returns to the counter, as seen in the video, the suspect is seen approaching from behind and punching him. According to Prescott Valley Police, the elder fell to the ground and hit his head on the ground. After that, he was airlifted to a medical facility in Prescott Valley where he spent the next ten days in critical condition. According to Yahoo, he died on August 5 from his injuries.

A Wendy’s employee allegedly hit the senior over an order grievance.

The 67-year-old customer complained about his food order while consuming frozen ice cream at the counter, witnesses said. To the surprise of the other patrons, he was left unconscious after apparently being punched by Kendrick. Local authorities have not released the identity of the victim; he is an elderly resident of Dewey Valley.

Authorities from the Prescott Police Department summarized Wendy’s assault case in an official statement. It has been said:

“The customer expressed dissatisfaction with his food order. Kendrick then came out from behind the service counter and punched the customer in the head.

A customer who had been at Wendy’s that day and was an eyewitness reported what he had observed to AZfamily. He stated:

Oh my God, this impact was really hard. That shot came from Mike Tyson.
He continued:

He was not allowed to touch the consumer because the customer had not touched him, end of story. Simply put, I find this horrible and I wish this didn’t happen. It casts a negative light on our culture as a whole.

This Wendy’s hire’s criminal record dates back to 2013. He faced numerous aggravated assault charges at the time, in 2016 and 2019. He may be ‘many,’ but for some reason , he is still at large.

Following the altercation, authorities in Arizona detained the Wendy’s employee and filed aggravated assault charges against her. According to ABC, the charges were upgraded to second degree murder after 67 years. the former Kendrick remains in custody.
