The final image of the film was remarkable and gave a completely different idea. Keep reading to find out how Royalteen ends.
Royalteen’s ending explained
A love story ideal for teens with a glimpse of the future, the conclusion of Royalteen
Royalteen was essentially similar to most other teen romance movies except for its incredibly timely and daring premise. The main characters went through a tough time due to their personal challenges, but they finally accepted each other and declared their love. The problems in this film were more palpable than in others.
Lena decided to call Prince Kalle and express her love after leaving her vacation early and seeing some familiar faces. Not too long ago, Kalle’s relatively clean past came to light when Lena thought he was the “party prince”. However, Kalle’s twin sister Margrethe (Elli Rhiannon Müller Osborne) arrived before Lena had a chance to meet Kalle and tell her anything.
Lena’s younger brother Theodor is actually her son, according to Margrethe, who said she knows all of her secrets. Lena complied with Margrethe’s threat to walk away from her brother.
Lena cut off communication with the prince and collapsed in her home. His mother, however, falling to the ground, cut short his collapse. In fact, his mother avoided having a heart attack. This forced Lena to admit her guilt. She revealed Theodor was her child live on Instagram and promised to never be ashamed of him again.
Prince Kalle appeared on stage soon after and began performing the song Lena is named after. Lena apologized to him for lying as they stared into each other’s eyes. To everyone’s delight at the ball, Kalle forgave him and they shared a kiss. Margrethe found this disappointing.
There will likely be a Royalteen sequel soon, and it will continue from the cliffhanger left over from Margrethe’s meltdown. Netflix is currently streaming the film.
