She-Hulk: Lawyer Creator Jessica Gao expanded on the Spider-Man comments she made earlier this month.
She-Hulk: Lawyer is a series that focuses a lot on the legal side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show will feature several MCU characters like Daredevil, Wong, and Abomination. Despite concerns over initial reviews of the series’ trailers, they’ve been largely positive. Unfortunately, there is a character and his red gallery that will not appear in the series.
Earlier this month, Jessica Gao revealed that Spider-Man was a no-go for the series. In a recent interview with TV Line, Gao expanded on this, stating that there were characters in Spider-Man’s world that they wanted to bring in. Unfortunately, the writers got their wrists snapped pretty early in the development process:
“We innately knew that Spider-Man was off limits. We thought some of the other Spider-Man characters might be fun to fit into our world, but we were told pretty early on that was impossible, so we’re not. haven’t really gone too far down the road. We just had some Spider-Man supernerds in our room who dare to dream!
Here is the synopsis for She-Hulk: Attorney At Law:
