marvel’s What if…? Director Bryan Andrews recently discussed the show’s upcoming season and what to look forward to in an interview. He claims that the developments and ideas we might see in What If…? season two is going to completely blow our minds!
Additionally, it provides more details on how they will take on more and more responsibilities in the coming season, why the emergence of many Marvel movies has made their tasks easier, and how many new characters will be introduced.

What if…? On Disney+
The What if…? Marvel series has a really original idea. The animated series just adds a little variation to the tales of several Marvel heroes.
The premise of the show revolves around a specific aspect in each episode where the typical plot involving Marvel heroes is completely altered by changing just one small detail. Nine episodes make up the entire season, which saw the introduction of many new characters. What if…? in no way held back when it came to awesomeness, from including Captain Carter in the game to eliminating all of the Avengers.

What if…? Season 2 and director Bryan Andrews
During an interview, series director Bryan Andrews shared some details regarding season two.
Director Claims Marvel President Kevin Feige Ordered Him To “keep it a little closer to the vest” but to finally have it tie everything together.
“The first season Kevin [Feige] I wanted to keep it a little closer to the vest, to have a little thing that was different and that little thing made those things different, but still very much tied to a moment in the movies or a particular movie itself.
When discussing Season 2 of What if…? the director admitted that since Marvel has released more movies, they can use more material in place of fleeting moments to produce stronger, crazier episodes. He also revealed that working with some of the characters they will unveil is quite rare and exceptional.

“Now there’s more movies and stuff to shoot, so we don’t have to have just a little while.”
“We are expanding and things can get a little wackier. We take it up a notch in season two, and then in season three we get even wackier. In the second season we have different characters that we haven’t really had a chance to play with before and we see how they will fit in with some of the returning favorites.
On top of all that, he also revealed to the audience that some of the concepts they would be filming for season two were actually meant for season one but were judged too soon.
