Moon Knight debuted in 2022 to win the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Now, after teaming up with Ms. Marvel in the comics, the Egyptian god has found himself a new form, Kaiju. The Kaiju form matches the appearance of Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god. Teaming up with Ms. Marvel, it’s speculated that the duo may also appear on the show.

Moon Knight’s Khonshu in Kaiju!
Kaiju refers to a specific genre of Japanese films that deal with the emergence of giant creatures like Godzilla. In the recently released Marvel comics, Kamala Khan teams up with the Egyptian god to together solve a mystery involving battling robot mice.

At one point, the duo encounter Hunter’s Moon, which is another of Khonshu’s Fists who also fell victim to the Mechanical Rodent attacks. Until the trio come to a judgment, the rodents in a Big Hero 6 move, clump together to form a giant robot.
This forces Hunter’s Moon and Khonshu to merge their powers to form a giant Khonshu-shaped creature. This Kaiju is inspired by the final battle of the critically acclaimed and Emmy nominated series Moon Knight (2022), where a fight on this massive scale takes place.

Moon Knight was a series that received a lot of love from the audience. Described as a bit humorous with lots of history lessons in a fun way, the series is one to love. Now, with the recent recognition Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel is getting, it may be possible to see the duo team up in future storylines in the MCU.
With regard to civil servants, Moon Knight is a limited series, and therefore a second season is probably not a possibility. However, a TikTok video featuring actor Oscar Isaac and director Mohammad Diab in Cairo, Egypt says otherwise. This could be a hint of the Egyptian God’s return for another season, but as of now, there’s been no confirmation from Marvel or cast/crew members.
