Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse Producer Chris Miller has released a new poster for the upcoming sequel.
The highly anticipated spider worms the follow-up won’t be released until next summer, but Sony has shown the first look ahead of the projections for Spider-Man: No Coming Home all the way back in December. Through the Spider-Verse is set to expand the Multiverse even further, with the addition of Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Punk, Scarlet Spider, and Spider-Woman.
Battle of the Spider-Men
The first look teased a battle between Miles Morales and Oscar Issac’s Miguel O’Hara in a new animation style. O’Hara debuted in the post-credits scene of the first film and will play a larger role in the sequel. Spider-Man 2099 won’t be the only character Miles will face in the sequel, with The Spot serving as the sequel’s central antagonist.
