‘House Of The Dragon’ Receives Rotten Tomatoes Score

The last season of game of thrones left a bad taste in many viewers’ mouths, but that’s not stopping HBO from expanding the franchise. Dragon House tries to keep the game of thrones series telling a story set hundreds of years ago A song of ice and fire.

East Dragon House A worthy successor?

Dragon House will premiere on HBO this Sunday, and the first reviews for the series arrived on Friday. So far, the general consensus seems to be positive, with critics suggesting Dragon House is a return to form and in line with the previous game of thrones seasons.

With the first reviews of Dragon House comes the Rotten Tomatoes score for the series. At present, Dragon House holds a Tomatometer score of 81% with 257 reviews.

Based on the book Fire & Blood by George RR Martin, the series will tell the story of House Targaryen (aka the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen) and will be set 300 years before the events of Game Of Thrones.

Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan J. Condal are co-showrunners of House of the Dragon and are executive producers alongside George RR Martin. The series features a star-studded cast that includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Paddy Considine, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best and Sonoya Mizuno.
