The Rock recalls an ugly memory from the past
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was a legacy from birth. Son of legendary wrestler Rocky Johnson, he already had big shoes to put on from his childhood. Fortunately, the competitive aspect of the sports world favored him due to his size and strength and he quickly rose through the ranks to become a Miami Hurricanes player.

But football is a violent sport and temperatures soar in the heat of the moment. The Rock recalls how one of his teammates pushed him over the edge blaming him for one of the lost matches, and the pair quickly landed on the ground, tackling each other until they were separated by the parts present. Recalling the incident, Johnson revealed,
“It was like a fight at the cinema – the office turned around, stuff was flying everywhere. We dumped ourselves on the weight room floor, still doing it. He kept talking, so I decided to stick my tongue out at him. I stuck my big hand in his mouth, and I had a few fingers around his tongue, but it was so slippery!

Rocky Johnson Reveals Details About The Rock’s Fight
Wayde Douglas Bowles, known professionally as Rocky Johnson (1944-2020), was Georgia’s first black heavyweight champion. His son, Dwayne Johnson, after college, followed in his footsteps to become a legend in the WWE world, stepping out of his father’s shadow and making an even bigger name for himself. Now the world recognizes his name and face as one of Hollywood’s most humbled, well-spoken and enduring stars. However, the past told a different story.

In an interview with Hannibal TelevisionRocky Johnson recalled The Rock’s college fight with a teammate – “Oh yeah! He almost killed Heartbreak Kid and then he fought the football team. I mean he went after his own players and he’s trying to stick his tongue out. However, the causal reason for the whole fight, which erupted following a losing match, would soon be forgotten as Johnson, along with his team, would win the 1991 National Championships soon after.
