Kevin Feige plans the next MCU saga to focus on mutants

At the end of this year’s San Diego Comic-con, we had on hand a brand new group of upcoming titles for the Marvel Cinematic Universe released by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

From Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, ending Phase 4 of the MCU, to two new Avengers movies, “The Kang Dynasty” and “Secret Wars”, coming out as Phase 6, wrapping it all up, under one title “The Multiverse Saga”. After seeing a pattern of sagas throughout the phases of the MCU, a new rumor is circulating, in which fans are speculating about the next MCU saga.

Kevin Feige is rumored to be planning the next MCU saga to be called ‘The Mutant Saga’. With the mutants introduced to the MCU at the end of “The Multiverse Saga”. Which is reportedly being worked on by MCU.

Have mutants ever been introduced?

Ms. Marvel and Professor X

Earlier this year, we got our first possible hint at the existence of mutants in the MCU, in the Disney Plus show “Ms. Marvel.”

Not only that, “Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness” also introduced Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, who was later killed by The Scarlet Witch.

The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, longtime X-Men in the comics, were also introduced in Avengers Age of Ultron, but with twisted backstories, taking them away from their X-Men origins.

The two in the comics turn out to be the children of Eric Lensherr aka Magneto, which was the case in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men film series, where Pietro turns out to be Eric Lensherr’s son.

Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson

‘WandaVision’ reintroduced Quicksilver to the MCU, but this time it was Evan Peters’ Quicksilver, which fans said was an opening for Fox’s X-Men to enter the MCU, but that also happened. turned out to be another joke made by Marvel.

How will mutants be introduced in the MCU?

X-MEN’97

At Comic-con in San Diego this year, Kevin Feige introduced us to the first production of Marvel Mutants, an animated series dubbed “X-men ’97.”

X-Men ’97 is meant to be a continuation of the 30-year-old Marvel X-Men The Animated Series show, and picks up where it left off.

It’s still unconfirmed if X-Men ’97 is canon for the MCU or not.

The writer of the show hints that the show is Canon

Beau De Mayo

In an interview, Beau DeMayo, the head writer and executive producer of X-Men ’97 hinted that the series is MCU canon.

When asked about it, he said, “I’m going to refrain from commenting here because part of the surprise will be finding out when you experience the show.”

As we’ve seen over the past few years, we’ve come to realize that “no comments” actually means a yes, whether it’s Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman No Way Home cameo or John Krasinski’s Doctor Strange cameo.

Well, hope to find the answers soon.
