Promotional art for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reveals Ironheart’s design.
Marvel Studios’ next movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever seeks to further immerse audiences in one of the larger worlds. Although the film has an inherent bittersweetness given the passing of Chadwick Boseman, the first trailer showed an intention to honor his legacy by expanding the scope of black heroes, including the few who were introduced for the first time in the first movie, plus a few new additions. , including Riri Williams AKA Ironheart (Dominique Thorne).
The first trailer gave fans a glimpse of Riri Williams assembling her Ironheart suit, similar to how Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) first assembled the Mark 1 Iron Man suit in a cave. with a box of leftovers. Now we’ve seen what it will look like, thanks to promotional artwork that has surfaced across the web.
Although Ironheart will debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dominique Thorne will also headline her own Disney Plus original series, which will consist of six episodes and is set to hit the streaming service in late 2023 for Phase 5 of the MCU.

In Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers following the death of King T’Challa. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and chart a new course for the kingdom of Wakanda.
Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman and Angela Bassett.
