This journey to transform from his leaner self to his current physical shape involved 6 months of personal training at Gym Jones’ private facilities under the supervision of Mark Twight. The excruciating cycle of diet, diet, rest and exercise pushed him to the edge of his physical and mental limits and he came out the other side looking like a god.

The Herculean feat that made Henry Cavill a Superman
Henry Cavill’s BMI required him to consume at least 5,000 calories a day considering he stands 6ft 1in tall and weighs around 190lbs. Reports indicate that after those months in the gym, his physique had come down to an average of 5-7% body fat with an occasional toning down to 3-4%.

This required him to follow a specific diet tailored to maintain his body relative to the muscle mass he needed for his DCEU role, and simultaneously supplement his calorie consumption. Cavill spent at least 2.5 hours in the gym 5 days a week and followed a regulated regimen of intermittent meals and protein shakes (LOTS of them). Suffice it to say, his dedicated efforts to do the right thing got him into the playground of the gods, and then some.
