Lady Jane Cecil is the third wife of the late horse trainer Sir Henry Cecil. In 2008, the couple got married. Henry was a frequent stomach cancer patient who died in a Cambridge hospital.
Jane took over her franchise after his death and worked as an intern for two years until she quit in 2015. She was Henry’s supportive widow and worries about his business. There is not much information about her on social networks.
On January 11, 1943, ten minutes before his twin brother David, Henry Cecil was born in a hospital near Aberdeen. Cecil’s father, Lt. Hon. Henry Kerr Auchmuty Cecil, the third younger brother of Lord Amherst of Hackney, was killed in action while fighting with the Parachute Regiment in North Africa before he was born. On June 11, 2013, the horse trainer died in Cambridge, England.
Sir Henry Richard Amherst Cecil was a very successful British flat racehorse trainer, becoming a champion trainer 10 times and resulting in 25 national classic victories.
Due to his successes in the 1000 Guineas and Oaks, he became famous for his ability with fillies. He was well known for training 75 winners at Royal Ascot.
