Early life and education
Sapp started singing in church when he was just four years old, and was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He participated in various Gospel singing groups and ensembles throughout his teenage years. He attended the Indianapolis, Indiana campus of the unaccredited Aenon Bible College during his time there.
