Obi-Wan Kenobi: Return of a Jedi will take a look at the making of Disney Plus star wars series, with the first trailer for the documentary teasing new clips from Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen.
Return of a Jedi is one of many titles arriving next month on Disney Plus Day. The special marks a departure from behind-the-scenes documentaries for previous live action star wars shows The Mandalorian and Boba Fett’s Bookwhich were published under the Disney Gallery banner.
The first trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi: Return of a Jedi was posted online today, alongside Disney’s entire list of Disney Plus Day releases, teasing interviews with stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram and director Deborah Chow.

Excitingly, the trailer reveals a behind-the-scenes look at Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen training and filming their flashback sequence in Obi Wan Kenobiwhich saw the actors bring Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker back to Anakin’s Jedi training days sometime before attack of the clones.
The trailer also features a new look at the series’ virtual sets, brought to life on ILM’s massive LED sound stage, the Volume. This innovative studio was first used for the first star wars series, The Mandalorian.
In addition to watching the making of Obi Wan Kenobi himself, the trailer for Return of a Jedi sees the talent behind the series look back on their experiences from the original star wars movies as they consider their role in the franchise.
