‘On your way Lord Commander’: Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington dodged a speeding ticket by threatening the cop with heavy spoilers

Beginning his acting career in one of the most-watched shows in history, game of thrones, Kit Harington has become a well-known figure. Starting out as the bastard son of the Warden of the North, Jon Snow has had a rocky journey, leading him to become a key figure by the end of the show.

Thus in the last episode of season 5, angered by the actions of Jon Snow, the soldiers of the night’s watch betray their Lord Commander by stabbing him and saying “For the watch.

With the next season arriving nearly a year later, fans were terrified of losing a character they’ve followed all these years. Considering how the show killed off the main character without a second thought, like Eddard Stark, fans believed that was the end of Jon Snow.

As expected from fans, Jon Snow was confirmed dead at the start of Season 6. But later in the third episode of Season 6, named Oathbreaker, the character is revived by Scarlet Witch Melisandre.

Kit Harington escapes speeding ticket

Between the time frame of seasons 5 and 6, Kit Harington was once pulled over by a cop, who also happened to be a huge Game of Thrones fan, for speeding and was offered two options. Describing the ordeal on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he related what the cop said:

“You can either follow me to the police station now where I’ll book you in or you can tell me if you (Jon Snow) live in the next [season] from Game of Thrones…”

Wanting to escape the speeding ticket, the actor responded “I’m alive next season.” The cop answered “Go Lord Commander. Maintain speed as far south of the Wall…” and let the actor head to his destination.
