Jonathan Kent actor Jordan Elsass recently opened up about his departure from Superman and Lois.
Superman and Lois is preparing to begin filming the show’s third season, but it was revealed last week that Jordan Elsass won’t be returning as Jonathan Kent for that. Reportedly, Elsass never showed up for work before production began in Vancouver, leading the series to recast the role.
Jordan Elsass breaks his silence
In a recent Cameo video, Jordan Elsass announced that he would not be returning for Superman and Lois for season 3:
“It’s been a tough few weeks, as you can imagine, with everything going on with the show. It’s sad, it’s really unfortunate. I know I was pumped for season 3 for sure, but what are you going to do? Either way, mental health is definitely a 100% priority. It’s the pinnacle. It must come first. And mine has been… the last two years… it’s been tough.
