Batman: Crusader Caped and other animated projects would no longer be in development for HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
Last year it was revealed that a new Batman animated series was coming from Matt Reeves, JJ Abrams and Bruce Timm. Ed Brubaker had been hired as showrunner for Batman: Crusader Caped for a 10-episode first season that would have hit HBO Max and Cartoon Network.

Warner Bros. Discovery has canceled and deleted projects left and right, with bat girl being the most notable causality under the new regime.
