In the sixth installment of the franchise titled To fall, the final act showed Henry Cavill and Tom Cruise in a dramatic helicopter chase sequence. According to Steel man actor, it is one of the most difficult and thrilling experiences of his career. Henry Cavill has revealed that it is no child’s play to fly a helicopter in such freezing temperatures over the mountains of New Zealand.

Henry Cavill’s Thrilling Helicopter Stunt
According to Henry Cavill, he never did anything like that. Mission Impossible: Fallout introduced Henry Cavill as a mysterious figure August Walker who later turned out to be main antagonist John Lark. In this particular sequence, Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt chases Cavill’s character on a helicopter to retrieve a detonator to prevent a large nuclear explosion.

It is reported that the particular action sequence lasted around 4 weeks. According to Henry Cavill, above freezing temperature, shooting a machine gun is not at all easy. He revealed that even his headsets weren’t working and he had to wait for the pilot to shout for any signal:
“Because I’m in a helicopter with the doors open, over the mountains of New Zealand, in winter it’s particularly cold, four weeks outside a helicopter, with my head in the wind. And I shoot real whites, and so it’s not like CGI stuff was added in. So I have white residue flying all over the place, I can’t hear anything because my headset isn’t working. I’m just waiting for the pilot shout something and give a signal.
Looking at the scene, there’s no denying that Henry Cavill wasted no effort in making the scene a visual treat to watch. To date, it’s one of the most beloved third acts in a Hollywood film.
