In the Season 3 premiere of Seean Apple TV+ show, Jason Momoa expressed his love for the latest game of thrones prequel, directed by showrunners Ryan J. Condal and Miguel Sapochnik and created by Condal and George RR Martin. While the first episode of the HBO Max series, which was marketed as the biggest release of this year, is already making a lot of headlines for its graphic, sexual, violent and gory themes – the game of thrones trademark, the actor, who was seen in the first season of the original show, stated his anticipation for the prequel and how he is closer to the “dragon side”.

“I’m dying to see it [House of the Dragon], Of course I want to watch it. I haven’t done it yet, but yeah, I’m… they were filming at the same time we were doing Aquaman, and uh, we were right across from each other, so I’m very excited. I love the franchise.”
To top it off, the actor, alluding to the game of thrones Season 1 premise which he was an integral part of said: “Obviously, I’m very close to the dragon side, so…” From such claims, it can be proven that the actor has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the franchise and is clearly excited about what the future holds for him.

Farewell to the Emilia Clarke franchise
As for Jason Momoa’s co-star Emilia Clarke, who stands out for her iconic and groundbreaking portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in game of thrones, many people assumed that the ultra-talented actress had dropped out of the franchise. It’s abundantly clear that Clarke won’t be reprising her role in future spin-offs, including Dragon Houseas the actress herself stated earlier through several interviews.
During a conversation with the BBC earlier this year, the actress was asked about a potential return to the franchise, to which, Clarke simply said, “No, I think I’m done.”

When it comes to his dissatisfaction with game of thrones end, Emilia Clarke showed no hesitation in expressing her annoyance – especially towards Jon Snow, who, according to the actress, “got away with murder – literally.” The actress resonated deeply with what people thought about the original series’ conclusion in an interview with The Sunday Times. While much of the audience has tried to move on and redirect their attention to the latest prequel, it will soon be revealed whether or not House of Dragon lives up to the franchise’s legacy.
The pilot episode of Dragon House is now streaming on HBO Max with the second episode set to premiere on August 28, 2022. As for Jason Momoa, the actor will be seen in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomreleased on March 17, 2023.
