Spider-Man: No Coming Home returns to theaters with a host of new footage, including an all-new post-credits scene, details of which have now surfaced online.
When it premiered on the big screen, Spider-Man: No Coming Home only really featured one post-credits scene – featuring Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock during his brief visit to the MCU – with a trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness then being shown at the very end of the credits.
Instead of strange doctor trailer, the reissue of No coming home will feature a new scene involving Angourie Rice’s Betty Brant.
New Spider-Man: No Coming Home The post-credits scene would deal with the effects of Doctor Strange’s memory-altering spell, erasing Peter Parker’s memory from the world.
According to Redditor u/KostisPat257, leaked scenes from Spider-Man: No Coming Home revealed a new post-credits moment in which Betty Brant looks back on key moments from her cohort’s time in high school. The footage features footage from previous film moments, but Peter Parker is no longer present.
The Reddit post revealed:
“A new post-credits scene in place of the MoM trailer shows Betty doing her very last news segment just before graduation, showing footage of the kids’ adventures throughout high school (decathlon, trip to Europe, etc.), but all photos are missing Peter Parker, indicating how the memory spell works.
New No coming home The scene is obviously meant to clear up a few potential questions about how Peter Parker can be completely forgotten, confirming that photographic and other evidence of his existence has also been erased.
