Dan Lin isn’t the only producer that Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for Kevin Feige at DC for its job.
There’s a lot of uncertainty with DC right now as Warner Bros. Discovery continues its search for what new CEO David Zaslav has described as their “Kevin Feige”. Dan Lin emerged as a favorite to take the job last week, but no deal has yet been offered. As nothing is official, other names are launched.
According Variety, Emma Watts is another executive that Warner Bros. Discovery is considering for the job of DC. Watts previously held positions at Paramount and 20th Century Fox and was attached to projects such as James Cameron Avatar and I robot. Amy Pascal, Matt Tolmach, Sean Bailey and Greg Berlanti have also been rumored for the role.
Dawn of DC Studios
It’s unclear which direction DC will head next, but David Zaslav has made it clear that he wants to emulate Marvel Studios’ success and develop a 10-year plan. DC is also set to become a separate studio in the vein of Marvel Studios under Disney.
