Evil Versions Of Captain America The MCU Can Explore
Captain America is one of the most morally sound heroes in the Avengers. He is known to be honest, extremely noble and the hero that people can always look up to. But what if we tell you that there are evil versions of Captain America that we know and love across the vast multiverse? So let’s take a look at some of those villainous hats the MCU can explore in future films.
1. Supreme Hydra
Steve Rogers of Earth-61311 was indoctrinated into HYDRA from an early age. It was all a plan of the evil mastermind Red Skull who wanted to create a Captain America who would be the best version of himself. Steve was often placed in solitary confinement and forced to watch rehabilitation films. Also, this Cap is Helmut Zemo’s best friend. He rose to fame through his panel where he uttered the phrase “Hail HYDRA”. Luckily for all, the Hydra Supreme met its demise at the hands of none other than the first Captain America during a one-on-one duel between them.
2. Zombie Captain America aka Colonel America
Colonel America is the Captain America of the horror version of the Avengers in Marvel Zombies. Considering the fact that a Marvel Zombies production is on its way to Disney+, it could become a reality soon enough. Additionally, Chris Evans could make his return to the MCU by voicing Colonel America. He was also the one who little spider man and turned him into a zombie who then devoured Aunt May and MJ. This Captain America eats brains and would even kill his closest allies and friends just for another bite of flesh. So it’s something new. The Pillar of Justice transformed into a voracious and vile animal would be very interesting to see. Especially when voiced by Chris Evans himself.
3. Captain America from the Cancerverse
The Cancerverse is the darkest alternate reality in the MCU. Now that Marvel is exploring the darker side with Multiverse of Madness in particular, the Cancerverse might just be popping up. The Captain America of Earth-10011 was part of the Avengers and served Lord Marvel who was able to defeat Death. They then attempted to corrupt Earth-616 and make its innocent inhabitants their slaves. This seems quite disturbing for Cap. But they were surprisingly defeated by Thanos when he brought death back to the Cancerverse.
4. Capwolf
He is the Steve Rogers of Earth-13122. Steve Rogers was turned into a werewolf by Nightshade and his alchemy. He never recovers from this curse and causes much destruction.
5. Captain America the Vampire King
He’s another Captain America who wanted to enslave innocent people. He was infected with vampirism by Marvel’s own Baron Blood. He then turned all the other Avengers into vampires and made them his slaves. The Exiles were a group of beings from different realities who worked by correcting divergent timelines. They attempted to correct this twisted reality, but faced a difficult challenge. However, luckily Cap was decapitated by Mimic with Wolverine’s claws.
6. Captain America of Earth-7475
This Captain America is a hyper-paranoid and controlling fascist while pretending to be a hero. In this reality, Captain America went up against Doctor Doom along with the rest of the Avengers. However, to regain control of America, Cap embarks on a madcap mission to persecute innocent civilians he deems suspicious. It was a matter of rooting out any sympathizers or supporters of the other faction and even Eastern spies. He was no hero at all and wiped everyone who looked “funny” off the face of the earth.
7. Cap Becomes a Warlord
This is a combination variant of the green Incredible Hulk and Steve Rogers. In this version of the American hero, Cap is a tyrannical powerhouse and warlord. He is thirsty for blood and power and doesn’t care about the consequences, the devastation or the lives lost along the way. None of these Captain Americas could ever lift the Mjolnir in the MCU.
