With its Phase 5 reveal at Expo D23 2022, Marvel has thrilled fans with its upcoming movies and shows. Marvel not only released the first looks of many new projects, but also included clips from most of those shows. The exhibit included excerpts from Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania, Loki Season 2, and Wonders. In all of this, Marvel may have enticed Henry Cavill to join the MCU as Doctor Doom.
The president of Marvel Studios also explained how these shows and movies will fit into the multiverse saga. That’s not all, Kevin Feige also introduced a few new actors joining the MCU. Speaking about upcoming projects, Kevin Feige announced that Wanda Vision director Matt Shakman will direct the 2024 The Fantastic Four.

Fantastic Four Cast Reveal at D23 Expo
Kevin Feige made several announcements at the D23 Expo. All of the movies and shows included in Marvel’s D23 Expo belonged to MCU Phase 5. However, he made an exception by announcing some details about the first Phase 6 movie, The Fantastic Four.
Introducing director Feige said: “Every episode of Wanda Vision was directed by one man. His name is Matt Shakman.” He further said, “I just brought him to say hello.. because he runs Fantastic Four.” He further mentions that Fantastic Four is coming in Phase 6.
There’s also a tweet that has gone viral on Twitter, which shows off the cast of the Fantastic Four. The tweet says, “Henry Cavill is now officially chosen for the MCU!”
The cast for The Fantastic Four included John Krasinski as Reed Richards, Jodie Comer as Susan Storm, John Boyega as Johnny Storm, Seth Rogen as Ben Grimm, and Henry Cavill as Victor Von Doom.
Henry Cavill Fan Cast in the MCU
This isn’t the first time Henry Cavill has been associated with a Marvel project. Previously it was rumored that he would join the MCU as a Hyperian, who works for the Squadron Supreme in Loki Season 2. But Marvel hasn’t said anything about this news.
Once again, social media is teeming with claims that Henry Cavill is joining the MCU as Marvel’s The infamous Iron Man Doctor Doom. Infamous Iron Man is a comic book miniseries starring Victor Von Doom.
However, Marvel hasn’t made any confirmation regarding Henry Cavill joining the MCU. There have been several claims that Henry Cavill will join the multiverse, but all of them end up being just fans.
People fan-cast the Superman actor in several superhero roles in the MCU, including previously known, Hyperian and now as Victor Von Doom. This isn’t the end of the actor’s fan cast. Fans even imagined the actor playing the Beast in the next x-men projects and Captain Britain.

Marvel Fans React to Fantastic Four Fan Casting
However, MCU didn’t reveal any such information, and neither did Kevin Feige at the D23 Expo. Rumor is just rumor, and Feige only introduced Matt Shakman as the director of The Fantastic Four and nothing else about the casting of the film’s plot.

The tweet that’s been circulating on Twitter appears to be the work of a fan who wants to see the cast in the The Fantastic Four or just can’t wait to see Henry Cavill as Doctor Doom.
The tweet received several weird reactions from the public, where many were thrilled that one of their favorite actors was joining the cast, and some people called it fake. But there were people who enjoyed the cast and said Henry Cavill would be a great Victor Doom.

Marvel hasn’t officially announced the cast of the The Fantastic Four. Fans have had some ideas about who will join the cast, but nothing is confirmed yet. The Fantastic Four will be the first film of the MCU’s Phase 6.
