The Marvel Cinematic Universe introduced the Multiverse with its multimillion-dollar grandiose films of Spider-Man: No Coming Home and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Following Disney’s takeover of 20th Century Fox, the way was opened for teams such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to make their MCU debuts. Deadpool too, while not exactly a mutant, already has his third movie in the early stages.

Dead Pool 3 began its journey to show its audience the brilliance of its comedic, dark tones put on by both Wade Wilson and the actor who plays him so enthusiastically. While no news has been released or leaked regarding its storyline or otherwise, some sources claim that the film may bring some mainstream mutants back into the game.

Deadpool: A Generation of X-Men
Mutants have long been confirmed to exist in the MCU, starting with the Scarlet Witch herself, Wanda Vision revealed a boatload of knowledge about us and with it gave us a mutant Wanda Maximoff; as good as Ms. Marvel main character Kamala Khan. Moving forward a little in the timeline, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness not only brutally destroyed Reed Richards, but also gave us none other than Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier, aka Professor X.
Unquestionably a very “cute” cameo, Patrick Stewart reclaimed the yellow chair and his mind-bending persona with the wisdom and vigor he portrays with it. Even with the unfortunate end the Scarlet Witch met with, some sources say he’s likely to reprise the role in the third installment of dead Pool alongside Ryan Reynolds.

X-Men and their debut in the MCU
Even with the rollercoaster relationship between Deadpool and mutants, Patrick Stewart could be in talks to reprise his role. The dark comedy could be the perfect platform for his character to find a foothold given that mutants often found each other in the first two movies. Starting with Wolverine’s hilarious banter and continuing with Colossus dealing with Wade’s immature behavior. To witness all of this, Disney+ has both movies, including Once upon a time Deadpool waiting to be watched and laughed at over and over.
Not only that, but Charles Xavier’s School for Special Children has been in the movies before. Disney’s merger with Fox gave the MCU a broader direction in which to drift. Deadpool himself is a fan-favorite character and neither can Ryan Reynolds mesmerize us more with the amazing way he brings charisma to the character.

In the script, although not yet revealed, the actor can either be seen playing his iconic character or seen as Patrick Stewart himself. The outcome of the multiverse can give way to a cosmic level of ideas flowing through creators.
The introduction of Colossal Ideas in Deadpool 3
The expanding multiverse and the lack of a fourth wall collide perfectly in the world of the chaotically brutal character in red. Perhaps we could see a more humorous approach towards the character in addition to the hard-hitting acting that is usually seen from the actor.

Professor X’s death scene may not have been his last appearance in the franchise and with the course of X-Men films generally led by James McAvoy’s version of the character, Stewart’s role could be highly anticipated.
