A few months ago, rumors and reports pointed to how Ben Affleck’s Batman would be featured in the flashof the post-credits scene. In the scene, the Snyderverse Caped-crusader is about to find himself thrown into the future. At that moment, he summons the Flash who belongs to his timeline, asking the Scarlet Speedster to come find him. Additionally, inside sources have claimed that Ben Affleck’s superhero will be shown in the Knightmare realm.
Many assume that this reveal will launch the highly anticipated and eagerly dreamed up Justice League 2. As we all know by now, the effort led by Ezra Miller will wholeheartedly bring and embrace the concept of the Multiverse into the realms of the DCEU. Although there has been no concrete confirmation of the release or production of a second installment created by Zack Snyder of the Justice League, at Snyder Justice League ended on a huge cliffhanger.

Ben Affleck trusts Zack Snyder’s vision
Back in 2019 on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ben Affleck claimed he would step down from his role and peacefully retire as the DCEU’s Batman. Then in 2020, news surfaced about his last appearance in The flash. Recent reports have revealed to the world how Ben Affleck’s iteration of the superhero will also be seen starring Jason Momoa. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

With constant recurrence, the fans have grown enthusiastically. According to multiple sources, Affleck has shown reluctance to leave the role entirely, as he wants to leave a lasting impression on the franchise. Apparently, the 50-year-old actor has expressed feelings about wanting to leave the DCEU on his terms.
Does this indicate Ben Affleck’s desire to reinstate the canceled solo Batman movie he was supposed to write and direct? The one that was to feature the Caped Crusader tackling Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke? Not much can be determined.

While many remain hopeful for a full restoration of the Snyderverse, it remains to be seen what the flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has Ben Affleck’s Batman in mind – whether or not it promises a future, for starters.
