Gal Gadot Teases Her Villainous Role As The Evil Queen In Upcoming Live-Action Remake Of White as snow.
In 2016, Gal Gadot became a superstar thanks to her role as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and cemented it with the solo wonder woman film. While the state of the DCEU seems to be constantly changing, Gadot would return for future movies. In the meantime, however, the actress is keeping her options open.
Late last year, it was officially revealed that Gal Gadot would be playing the Evil Queen in a live-action remake of Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Production on the film wrapped in late spring, but the film currently doesn’t have an official release date. Speaking to Comicbook.com, the actress revealed how much fun she had playing the role and teased how evil the character would be:
“First of all, [did I] Have fun with it? I loved playing this character. He’s one of the characters I’ve enjoyed playing the most. She is naughty. She is deeply [makes evil gestures], you know? She’s got that dark side and the dynamic relationship – and what Snow White gets out of that is very… [looks menacingly]. Hold on.”
Realized by The Amazing Spider-Man director Mark Webb, White as snow stars Gal Gadot as The Evil Queen, Rachel Zegler as Snow White, Andrew Burnap as a new character named Johnathan, and Martin Klebba as Grumpy.
