The trailer points out that Gorr the God Butcher’s only on-screen murder in Thor: Love and Thunder is the first god he meets, at the very beginning of the film, whom he only kills in self-defense. The trailer also adds Gorr to the list of “villains who were right, but Marvel’s heroes only fight to preserve the status quo”, shooting down Thor’s children’s army.
