Avongers, assemble! The official Marvel’s Avengers Twitter account amusingly updated its display name, bio and icon on Thursday, in light of the fifth episode of She-Hulk: Lawyer. “Wicked, green and straight versed in these jeans.”
Jennifer Walters’ story reaches new heights in Episode 5 as she prepares to join the Avengers in projects such as Avengers: Kang Dynasty. And, due to its genetic ties to Bruce Banner and its own status as the Hulk, the Avengers are more tied to its own tale in its own solo series than virtually any Phase 4 project to date.

The episode featured Ginger Gonzaga’s Nikki Ramos and Josh Segarra’s Augustus “Pug” Pugliese as they searched for a superhero tailor for Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany). After discovering a boba cafe that they mistakenly believe is a front for the Tailor, they learn that it is actually a front for counterfeit Avengers items, including the “Avongers” and“Avengers”, featuring cartoon depictions of the original six Avengers that clearly don’t match reality.

In fact, Truck Torrence, owner of 100% Soft, the creator of several Marvel emoji characters, designed the Avongers’ attire and emblems. (Torrence is also the fiancĂŠ of Jessica Gao, the head writer of She-Hulk.) On Thursday, the 100% Soft account took to Twitter to joke about being Pug and Nikki”drip brokerâ and share a gif of the episode.

The official Marvel-affiliated Avengers Twitter account has been temporarily revamped in a hilarious nod to the latest episode of She-Hulk. “Avongers” was renamed, and the biography reads: “Earth’s Toughest Heroes.”
Additionally, the profile picture now features mimic variations of Captain America, Thor, and a purple version of the Hulk, done by 100% Soft, a regular Marvel emoji artist.
What is Marvel doing with She-Hulk?
She-Hulk receives a lot of criticism and attention, and not everything is justified. The show is over the top, and MCU may be working behind the scenes to keep it in the spotlight, as they’re known to do. Never before has an MCU show received so much attention; something smells like fish.

Now, before Twitter users go nuts, this Avengers profile change is only temporary. Still, She-Hulk is a weird piece of connective tissue. Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Lawyer releases new episodes every Thursday, with Episode 6 premiering on Disney+ September 22.
