The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal Says Season 3 Revisits Early Storylines

Pedro Pascal teased what star wars fans can look forward to the third season of The Mandaloriansuggesting that ideas from Season 1 will be revisited.

The Mandalorian explores the time between the original star wars trilogy and Disney’s sequel trilogy, focusing on the adventures of Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal. The upcoming third season of the series is expected to bring Din back to the Mandalorian homeworld of Mandalore.

With Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon also set to return in Season 3, it looks like The Mandalorian might be about to answer long-standing questions about Imperial Remnant and Gideon’s plans for Grogu.

Speaking at D23 Expo, where the trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 is out, Pedro Pascal calls the new season “epic”.

In an interview alongside The Mandalorian director Rick Fukuyama, Pedro Pascal was asked about season 3 of the star wars series. While he couldn’t give any plot details, he teased that the new season would pick up on the plot threads still hanging from the show’s first season.

Pedro Pascal said of The Mandalorian Season 3:

“I mean it’s epic, it’s definitely epic. And we’re going to have a lot of things that were introduced into the storytelling at the start of season 1, themes and ideas that you’ll remember once we will enter [the] full realization of season 3, and it’s epic, epic.

The first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 promises more Mandalorians coming together than we’ve ever seen before in the star wars series and sets up a reunion/confrontation between Din Djarin and Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryze. “Epic” is definitely the word.
