Renewed or cancelled?
See is one of the most popular shows on Apple’s platform and combines the genre of dystopian thrillers with a cast of mostly blind actors. Except for people with sight. Go figure! If you have already finished watching this episode, you might be curious whether or not this show will continue to air in the future. Here is what we are aware of:
See season 3
What is See season 3 about?
The third season continues where the second left off, with Baba Voss having gone into hiding by this point. On the other hand, a promising warmonger named Tormada brings him out of hiding. Tormada is responsible for creating some terrible bombs, which jeopardize Paya’s future.
Maghra struggles with her duty as a leader as Sibeth Kane continues to stir up trouble as Baba Voss returns home to try to change the course of the conflict.

Have been renewed for season 4?
As of this writing, AppleTV+ has yet to decide whether or not to renew See for a fourth season. It will be fascinating to see if Apple decides to continue with this show given its track record of expanding many of its existing shows. Since the title “The Final Chapter” was given to the third season, it is reasonable to think that this will be the last episode of See. At least as far as Baba Voss is concerned!
The reception it has received from critics and general audiences has been very mixed, despite the fact that the conclusion helps to tie it all together nicely.
Our prediction is that See won’t be picked up for a fourth season based on how the season finale episode unfolds (don’t worry, there won’t be any spoilers here!).

What we know about Season 4 so far:
Since this season has not been renewed, there is currently very little information available about the upcoming fourth season. Despite Apple having an excellent track record of renewals, we anticipate that pursuing this will not be given the green light for production.
It is very likely that Apple will make an official reveal about the future of the See world in a few months. It’s possible we’ll see a spin-off or even a prequel depicting the collapse of humanity in this announcement. What’s going to happen ?

See is an American science fiction drama television series made for Apple TV+. Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard are the main characters of the series. The plot of the series is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia in the distant future. Beneath this world, a blind tribe lives in the belief that two of their children possess the legendary ability to see. It was written by Steven Knight and Francis Lawrence was in charge of directing. Along with them, Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper and Yadira Guevara-Prip are featured in the film. Members of the production team who also serve as executive producers are Jenno Topping, Kristen Campo, Peter Chernin, and Knight Lawrence. The first episode of the current season aired on November 1, 2019, and the show was picked up for a second season. However, the show’s production was briefly halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The final scene was filmed on March 18, 2021, and the second season will premiere on August 27, 2021. Apple has announced that the show will continue for a third season in June 2021.
In June 2022, it was revealed that the final eight episodes of the series would be contained in the third season of the TV show. The final season premiered on August 26, 2022.
Premise
In the 21st century, a virus was responsible for eradicating the vast majority of humanity. Less than two million people managed to survive, and all of these people, along with their descendants, lost their sight completely. The events of See take place several centuries later, by which time civilization has developed new ways of socially engaging, creating, hunting, and surviving without sight, but at a much lower economic level. These new methods are explored in the novel See. The idea of vision has been elevated to myth, and any discussion of it is considered heresy.
Knowledge of the ancient seer world was lost or corrupted, and mankind reverted to hunter-gatherer cultures and tribal societies similar to those that existed throughout the Middle Ages. Some people believe that the gods used supernatural means to shape materials such as metal, concrete, and plastic. Others argue that these materials always have been.
A pregnant woman named Maghra travels to the mountains in search of the Alkenny tribe to seek refuge with them. Baba Voss, leader of the Alkenny people, is unable to have children of his own, so he decides to marry her and adopt her children instead of trying to have children of his own. Their biological father, Jerlamarel, is on the run from the Queen of the Kingdom of Payan because he is accused of practicing the heretical religion of “observation”. The rumor that Jerlamarel is the father of children spreads quickly, leading to a manhunt for Jerlamarel and his children. Against the Queen’s soldiers, Baba Voss is tasked with defending not only his family but also his tribe.
Production
Development
It was revealed on January 10, 2018 that Apple had given the production a series order for a single season consisting of eight episodes. Steven Knight and Francis Lawrence, who also serve as executive producers alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo, were responsible for writing and directing the series, respectively. Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content are the two production companies working on the series.
Apple announced on November 7, 2019 that it had placed an order for a second season of the series. A renewal for a third season was announced on June 10, 2021, ahead of the premiere of the second season.
Foundry
An announcement made in July 2018 announced that Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard had been cast in series regular roles. This was followed by an announcement in August 2018 stating that Yadira Guevara-Prip, Nesta Cooper, Sylvia Hoeks and Archie Madekwe joined the main cast. It was revealed on October 18, 2018 that Christian Camargo and Hera Hilmar had been cast in recurring roles on the show. In the first episode, Oliver Rae Aleron and Spencer Prewett, two characters from the Archspire series, make appearances.
It was revealed in January 2020 that Dave Bautista would be joining the show for Season 2 and playing the role of Baba Voss’ brother. In February 2020, it was announced that Adrian Paul would also join the cast and portray a character titled Lord Harlan, despite Tom Mison eventually taking the role. In October 2020, it was revealed that Joe Flanigan, who had previously worked alongside Jason Momoa on the Stargate Atlantis television series, had been given a recurring role in the show’s second season. It was revealed in June 2021 that Eden Epstein, Tom Mison, Hoon Lee, and Olivia Cheng would join Bautista as new series regulars for the upcoming second season. Additionally, David Hewlett and Tamara Tunie will have guest starring roles in the series.
It was announced in June 2022 that David Hewlett, who previously appeared as a guest star in the second season, would be elevated to series regular for the third and final season. He would be joined by new series regular Michael Raymond-James, and Trieste Kelly Dunn would play a role on the show as a guest star.
