Video from the Virginia home’s security system was turned over to police and showed the crime took place inside the residence. It has come to our attention that one of the suspects is seen placing a gun to the resident’s back while instructing her to be quiet.

The victims hid inside the closet as the suspects, who were both loaded with firearms, began pacing the room immediately after the shooting. The victims buried themselves as quickly as possible. One of the victims, who had difficulty walking, used a walker because it helped him get around.

After some time, the suspects began stealing items from the residence, including what appeared to be cell phones, while the owners of the items hid in the closet. Shortly after, one of the suspects was seen carrying the safe when he was filmed doing so.

According to the police officer, “when it comes to home invasions, the perpetrators are usually known to the victim”, meaning that “we don’t have someone lurking around kicking foot in people’s doors”. [Case in point] “We have people who know the victim,” the investigator said. No one can say for sure who gave them the information, and we don’t know who it was… At this point I have no information or knowledge of how this material was distributed to the public.

On the other hand, Virginia police have stated unequivocally that the elderly were not injured in any way and were not even there during the incident. They also asked that authorities be notified so they can get more information about the theft that took place at their home in Virginia.
