Superhero movie nerds, even those who read the comic books, seem to be pretty uncomfortable whenever there’s a slight shift in tone with completely new adaptations of their favorite characters. Marvel is new She-Hulk The Disney+ series is the subject of these same slanders from the same demographic, and it’s quite embarrassing.
She-Hulk: Lawyer is one of many Marvel productions which saw a plethora of Marvel fans and viewers from other franchises criticize him for being too “woke” or pushing an agenda. At Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel being another example of the same. Now, what could be a brilliant public relations response to such criticism? The She-Hulk crew prefers to make a fun statement about the whole situation.

The team behind She-Hulk just trolled the trolls
She-Hulk: LawyerEpisode three’s post-credits scene was the focus of the conversation surrounding Marvel’s non-commitment to the seriousness of their characters, which was kind of funny since She-Hulk is also pretty goofy in the comics.
In said scene, Tatiana Maslany’s character could be seen twerking with famous rapper Megan Thee Stallion. This caused a huge meltdown among Marvel fans, who questioned the integrity of Marvel’s storytelling, among other things.
The show was meant to go on, and Jessica Gao’s TV series continued to air despite all the slander. But in the latest episode of the TV series, they sent a fitting throwback to all the trolls poking fun at the show. Episode 5 of She-Hulk: Lawyer literally takes the internet troll show jokes and adds them to it!

For example, there’s a scene where Titania (Jameela Jamil) mocks Walter’s suit and green skin by calling him Shrek, a joke circulating on social media about Walter’s legal look.
In another instance, a scene shows us a glimpse of a social media app in the TV series, showing us three different posts on the app’s main feed complaining about new female superheroes (a parody of sexist comments aimed at designing female characters in the MCU).
All in all, these are pretty clever and hilarious responses to the unfair reviews that She-Hulk: Lawyera spectacle proud of its lightness, is met.

Fans Are Going Crazy For How She-Hulk Criticism Was Handled
Despite what many may think, She-Hulk: Lawyer has fans. The recent episode that shows us some scenes hitting back at the show’s “wake-up” criticism has fans going a mile.

It was a rocky start to Jessica Gao’s TV series, but the show proved, with its brilliant response to trolls in the final episode, that it wouldn’t give in to unwarranted criticism.
