During an appearance at DIF London, Emilia Clarke confided in the fate of her character in the game of thrones finale, revealing how much she wished things had ended.
Clarke claimed she still believes Daenerys Targaryen “did nothing wrong,” which may be a controversial opinion from a character that unleashed her dragon’s fiery wrath on the people of King’s Landing after the capital surrendered to her.
Speaking about where the finale left Daenerys and Jon Snow, Emilia Clarke revealed her favorite ending, saying:
“I still think Daenerys didn’t do anything wrong. It’s not fair that Jon can live. I want Daenerys with him. With Jon. They could go to family therapy and work through their issues. Daenerys is a full character. hope, she has a lot of hope, and I wish she could achieve it.
Considering Daenerys’ hopes included conquering the Seven Kingdoms, something she dubiously attempted to paint as a quest to deliver freedom, perhaps it’s for the best that Jon Snow decided to cut short. his reign.
