Early life and education
Kodak was raised as an only child in Pompano Beach by his mother who was a Haitian immigrant, and the two lived in Golden Acres which is a Pompano Beach public housing project – nothing is known of his father, and it is believed that he abandoned the family not long after Kodak was born.
