Daredevil’s entry in the eighth episode of She-Hulk continues MCU’s streak of making an impressive impression among fans with its penultimate episode. The most anticipated cameo has finally been performed, and the pop culture world is undoubtedly at the top of fan theories and discussions about it. But the internet is divided as many fans embraced this new Daredevil with open hearts while some fans rejected it outright, still considering the Netflix version to be far superior.
She-Hulk has been embroiled in heat and controversy since day one of its release. Charlie Cox’s return as Daredevil was one of the main reasons fans kept watching the show despite the overwhelming reviews.

Daredevil returns with a makeover
After being last spotted in Spider-Man: No Coming Home, Charlie Cox was spotted again as Matt Murdock in the latest episode of She-Hulk. As already reported, the MCU’s version of the blind vigilante is very different from Netflix’s version outfitted in one-liners and wearing a new yellow and red suit.

In the final episode of the series, Matt Murdock first appears to portray Luke Jacobson, against whom there were allegations of faulty costume making. Since the first appearance alone, fans have quickly noticed the character’s significant changes. Later, the changes are further manifested when he and She-Hulk do battle with Leapfrog and his men. Towards the end, the episode even showed a romantic angle between Matt Murdock and Jennifer Walters.
The return of Daredevil delighted many fans who appreciated the new attributes of the one-liners and the lightness of his character. Even many of them claimed that this appearance of Daredevil was very accurate. But here, a significant portion of the audience also expressed their disgust with the show.

Is comic precision important?
While various fans find it enjoyable to watch a comically accurate Daredevil, there have also been allegations from some audiences that this is a weak point in defending the series. They agree with hardcore fans that the character was also lighthearted in the comics and not always serious and a gritty soul as seen in the Netflix version. But they were quick to point out that in various instances, these fans also overlooked when certain iconic MCU characters were made comically inaccurate.
The dark tone of the show in the Netflix version was one of the main reasons Daredevil became such an iconic character in pop culture. According to fans who can’t stand the sudden character change, it makes no sense to nerf a character who is already an established superhero with the dark theme etched in everyone’s mind.

One of the saddest things about Daredevil’s return to ‘She-Hulk’ is that it’s the worst live action Daredevil has written since 2003 and yet it’s still the best written character of all. series.

While internet users are clearly divided on the appearance of Matt Murdock, it must be remembered that it was the She-Hulk show and therefore the tone could have been set according to that. If reports are to be believed, the next Daredevil: Born Again The series will have the perfect mix of serious moments and MCU flair. And it will truly be considered whether clever writing can also make Disney+’s Daredevil series as memorable as Netflix’s.
