Ancient daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight shared his thoughts on the latest episode of She-Hulk starring Charlie Cox.
She-Hulk episode eight featured Charlie Cox’s long-awaited Daredevil return, with the actor dressing up as the Man Without Fear after reprising his role as Matt Murdock in 2021 Spider-Man: No Coming Home. The series showed a lighter version of Daredevil than seen in Netflix’s Marvel series, which drew a lot of criticism from the character’s fans.
Steven S. DeKnight took to his personal Twitter page to drop some comments on the new She-Hulk episode, praising the chemistry between Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters. DeKnight also defended She-Hulk‘s takes on Daredevil, saying the comics have shown that there are many different ways to write the character.
Steven S. DeKnight was the original showrunner of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. He took the reins of daredevil after Drew Goddard stepped away from the show to focus on a Sinister Six movie at Sony Pictures. DeKnight was replaced by Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez for daredevil season two.
